Filling Your Karma Account with Positive Credits…

We all have Karma.  What we put out, is what we get back.  So, each positive thought or affirmation is like a positive credit in your Karma account.  The goal being to have more positive than negative.  Like a buffer for any negative thing that occurs.

For example, let’s say you start each day with positive affirmations.  Those affirmations are each a credit in your account.  So, we say 5 positive affirmations and we deposit five positive credits.  Through out the day when a negative thought comes in your mind, then that takes away a positive credit, but if you immediately change that negative thought into a positive one and say it out loud, you can stop the withdrawal of a positive credit.  It balances out.  If you have a bad day and cannot help the negative thoughts, you could easily go into the negative in your karma account, so you want to build up as many positive credits as possible on the days you are feeling good.  Each thought and each action that is positive, is a positive credit.  When we help others or do good/nice things for them, we feel better and we deposit much more positive credits.  The more we do this, the better we feel!

Try to make each day start with positive credits into you karma account.  Affirmations and good intentions followed up with doing nice things for others.  Make an achievable goal that you can make each day, like 10 credits per day and work towards that goal every single day.  Remember, everyone has bad days, so do not get yourself down when this happens to you.

Being still, silent and just relaxing is a daily practice we all need to have.  Our intuition and gut tells us so many things.  Yet, you must be quiet in order to hear it.  Nothing is more important than your happiness and well being.  Make the time, if even just a few minutes a day, to give yourself that silence and connection to your own spirit………….

Day 3 in Florida – My Get Away…

I arrived at my parents in Florida on Sunday.  I always find peace and quiet here and work on myself.  I spent an hour at the pool yesterday and today an hour at the gym.  I lost most of my muscle during the two surgeries and the 14 weeks I was laid up after.  I couldn’t do a whole lot, but I managed 25 minutes on a bike and two rounds of upper and lower body machines.  I did feel pretty good afterward and I still have some decent energy four hours later.  I wish I could attend a gym by my home twice a week, but I will just have to find a way to push myself to do things at home!  I hope to have a bit of a tan when I return home.  The weather here has been beautiful, though today is pretty hot with it right around 87 degrees.

Tomorrow, Thursday, will be a day I am here alone while my parents golf.  I have to do laundry and I want to sit in the sun if I can handle it for a bit.  I also need to do a long meditation.  Working on myself is one of the biggest things I do when I come down here.  I know I get disappointed all the time, because I always have expectations of people.  That is one thing I want to work on while I am here.  No expectation = no disappointments!  It is hard not to expect others to act or do the things I know I would do or the things that I do.  Everyone is different though and assuming they have the same thoughts or even the same heart is wrong.  Plus it is so very bad for me.

I read an article today on SPRING CLEAN YOUR ENERGY FIELD…

Reconnect
Call an old friend that you haven’t seen for a long time and see how they are. You don’t need to speak for long, but your words and voice have a resonance that if used wisely, can heal.

Water
Find a body of water, a stream, a pond, a lake and sit by the water. Wash your crown chakra in the water. Remember water takes the lowest spot in the teachings of the Tao and it has a strong connection to Sulis Minerva who is one of the Beings that is with us.

Nature
Take a stroll in the forest. Touch the bark of the trees, feel the moss, lean up against a tree and close your eyes, listen to the birds singing and the sounds and breath of the forest. She calms us.

Innocence
Spend time with children and give them your full attention. Their sweetness, love of small things and laughter can lighten your spirits and teach you (And when they are a bit naughty, it helps you to look at patience, love and lack of ego.

Furry Friends
Love your pets, really love them, cuddle them, look at them, care for them, take them for a walk if they need it. They have unconditional love to give. They often help us in ways we don’t always understand.

Physical
Do something physical, dance, walk, cycle, do kung fu or tai chi perhaps. Use your body, it needs to move. You can simply touch your toes, swing your arms round like a windmill and do some stretches, but make an effort…

Carry a Tune
Laugh and sing (your singing might make others laugh, but do it anyway!)

Loved Ones
Spend time with friends and family. Go for a meal, enjoy their company, the food and the wine.

Try Something New
Be creative. Learn to knit, make soap, learn French or Spanish on skype, buy some cheap water colors and paint a picture, it’s very therapeutic.

Friendly
Be Kind. Smile at the young man at the cash register, say hello to the lady walking her baby, wave back at the children who wave to you from their car. Help when you can.

Meditation
Remember to meditate daily, it links you to the light even if you can’t see it, and teach your kids to meditate, it will help them in life.

Diet Changes
Give up meat or eat less of it, it’s deadly for your health and karma.

Life Continues On…

I survived Christmas. I have to say, my grandson is really the only reason I even put up a tree. He has so many emotional issues, yet he does have spells everyday where he is kind and sweet. He tends to destroy things though. It seems to take him a very long time to learn or understand things. He is in speech therapy, but I still have trouble understanding some things he says.

My son thinks that my wanting to go to my parents for two weeks to relax is just me running away from things. I cannot seem to get him to understand that I really need the peace and quiet and I am still recovering from the surgeries and all the emotional crap I have gone through. He refuses to watch my grandson while my daughter is at work so I can go to my parents. I was just going to leave anyway, but I don’t want my daughter to end up loosing her job because of my son again.

I cannot wait to take down all the Christmas stuff and put it back up in the attic. This year never once felt like Christmas and I did not even bake cookies. I am more than ready for the New Year, because it has to be better than this one!

I have decided to stop looking for any man. They always bring disappointment. I like being just me. I only miss having a man when I am horny or wanting to cuddle…LoL! Besides, everyone I have talked to or met is the same, they lie and pretend to be what you are looking for yet they are not! They say you should take a year after a break up to be comfortable with just you and that is what I am doing. I am comfortable with just me. I don’t have to worry about what someone else is thinking or try to look my very best for them. Everything I do now is completely for me!!! I want to get out and do things and I miss having friends near me too. I do have my family that I can do things with. When I finally heal enough not to be so darn tired every day, I can get back to playing games with the kids as well.

I did pretty good yesterday. I baked the cake my daughter in law wanted for her birthday, which actually took two days to make. A red velvet cake stuffed in the middle with a cheesecake. It was heavenly to say the least! I always bake what ever they want for their birthdays. I did not have the exhaustion hit me until 6pm, which is better than the few days prior where it was hitting me by 3pm. On the days I don’t have to watch my grandson I lay down and take a nap. Which usually lasts for two hours. Then I still go to bed by 10 or 11pm.

I have a new phone number so none of the unwanted messages from my ex or others will be bothering me. I have a phone I really like too. It is like a small portable IPad. I have all the APPs on there that I use on the iPad. I need to take the time to try and recover my crashed computer. My daughter doesn’t read things and just clicks ok and always ends up causing the computer to crash. Hopefully, I will be able to fix it and not have to send it to my father again.

I am doing my very best to recite affirmations daily and I have noticed that it does help. I am trying to notice when I have negative thoughts and replace them with something positive. When all else fails, I look in the mirror and smile, that always helps. You should try it! I am hoping to put some of my homemade natural recipes on here soon for everyone. I am wishing you all a very peaceful and happy new year………….

I project love to everyone I meet
I attract loving people and relationships into my life
I know my wisdom guides me to the right decision
I am a radiant being filled with light and love
I am open to receiving love
I breathe in universal love
I radiate love to all persons, places and things
As I give love, I am instantly supplied with more
I express love freely
I compare myself only to my highest self
I trust myself
I creat my reality
I give and receive love easily and joyfully
Love radiates from me at all times
I love myself completely
I bathe in unconditional love
I express love to all those I meet
People are just waiting to love me and I allow them
I am radiating love

Meditation to Heal….

I laid back down this morning, being sick will make you need lots of sleep. I did a meditation to help heal my body and get this infection abscess out of me. I started by relaxing and then I called to GOD and my guides to heal me. I envisioned the healing light fill my body and then I imagined little angels flying into my body and taking pieces of the abscess away. Then I fell asleep.

When I woke I was able to use the bathroom much more normal. I had been having trouble feeling a full bladder and getting it all out, but when I woke I went to the bathroom like normal. So, I will continue this meditation every morning when I lay down for my needed morning nap. I had read stories over the years of kids with cancer that would see the cancer being eaten by PAC man or other creatures and they improved dramatically. Some even got rid of all the cancer.

Our minds are powerful and we have the ability to create so much more than anyone seems to realize. I am willing to do anything possible to heal and recover from this mess. I look forward to being on the other side of healing and having only the memory of what had happened.

My friend brought me over a bag of Shakology and some almond milk. My blood levels are low and I am anemic. I am on iron supplement and I need a way to get protein in me when I can’t really eat much. I am excited to try it out. I hope it tastes great too. I have always wanted to try almond milk too. Shakology has everything your body needs to be healthy and heal and lots of people use it to loose weight and get healthy. Here is to hoping it gives my body the boost it needs to heal and recover………….

I HAVE to make major changes…

I am slowly recovering from my surgery. Today I finally had a BM and it took exactly two weeks to have one. I feel things are all progressing along as they should. I see the doctor tomorrow and hopefully he will say that all is healing well.

I already had an issue with the huge amount of negativity in my house and how “B” never can say anything positive. Every single day he wakes up and is in a negative mood and complaining. Every comment is negative. He is very much a jerk and I have found I just can’t take being around him at all anymore. I don’t understand how anyone can be that negative and hateful.

I don’t know if leaving here or removing him is the best option. Both pose a lot of problems. Honestly, I want to just leave, but my kids are here and they can’t afford the bills on there on. I am tired of tolerating so much negativity just to make sure the bills are paid and we have a roof over our heads. If my adult kids would band together and work together one could get a job and one could watch my grandson and they could help make sure the bills are covered. When I brought up me leaving before my kids flipped out, mostly my son. That I was screwing him and where would he live. My entire life I have put up with crap from another to survive. I don’t want to do it anymore. I don’t think I can do it anymore. I know I can’t do it anymore!

Moment of Truth Choices…

When we are faced with major life changing decisions we often have to make then quickly and emotionally. We tend to either use our head and base our choice on facts or we go with our gut feeling and base our choice on our heart. A combination of both is ideal, but when you are in a critical moment and emotions are flowing, it is hard to balance our decisions out.

Here is a list of what we need to ask ourselves before we make these life changing decisions:

1. Weigh your options by carefully examining the pros and cons.
2. Gather input from people you trust and who may have relevant knowledge or experience on the topic.
3. Listen to the wisdom of your inner voice. What is your gut telling you to do?
4. Consider how making this decision will affect your friends and family.
5. Does deciding one way or the other demand that you compromise your values or principles in any way?
6. What advice would you give your best friend or a family member if they had to make this decision?

Every single thing in our life is a choice. We have simple choices to make like what clothes to wear or what we will eat. We have hard choices to make like should I have this surgery or should I take this job. Every choice we make creates what our life is. The decisions that are hard to make or the ones that are life changing/Moment of truth choices are the ones that can either positively or negatively change our life ahead of us. Some things are out of our control, yet how we allow ourselves to be affected by them also creates our future life.

When dealing with mental illness it is even harder to know what the right choice is for us. Depression causes all kinds of negative emotions and can cause us to make incorrect choices in the heat of a moment. We just have to make ourselves Stop and take in a couple of deep and cleansing breathes, so we can be more clear in our choices. No matter how positive you are, when you have a mental disorder, your going to have bad days. We have to learn to go with the flow and not fight the bad days. Allow them to unfold and move on.

I am continuing on with making myself accomplish some sort of chore each day after I fully wake up and have medication working to help with my pain levels. This occupies my mind and that is so important in dealing with negative things that affect us. I also feel accomplished when a task is finally finished and having things clean and in there place also helps my mind feel better. Yesterday I cleaned my bedroom and washed my sheets. Today, I am going to try to tackle my bathroom. Getting started is the hardest part for me. Once I am in the mode I can usually stay there as long as I am mindful and take breaks so I do not create even more pain for me to deal with.

I am still waiting to find out when my surgery is going to be. Hopefully, I will know by Wednesday. Then I can plan accordingly for all that needs to be done before I am laid up for two months. It is absolutely beautiful out this morning. In the 70’s and the humidity is low. Enjoying it while I can………….

Catch Your Thoughts….

For the next 24 hours, pay attention to your thoughts and when you have a negative thought, turn those negative thoughts around and speak out loud something positive instead. Catch yourself before you say anything negative out loud. If your feeling pissed off over something, then say out loud a list of positive affirmations. Just commit to trying it for the next 24 hours.

Sometimes we slip and revert back to negative thoughts, but being mindful of what we are thinking can and will lift your mood and create much happier days. What is being mindful? It is focusing on the here and now. What we are doing and thinking right now. Being in the present moment. Not the past or the future. There really only is the here and now. The past is over and cannot be changed. The future has not occurred yet. Being mindful creates a much happier future.

Cutting the people out of your life that bring negativity and sadness is by far an important first step. We need to be surrounded by happy people so we can be supported in a positive way. Sometimes we cannot cut every single negative person out of our lives, but we can change how we let them affect us and our thoughts. It is much easier to feel good when you are surrounded by positive people. In the end though, we are in control of our own thoughts and action regardless of how others act. I trimmed my friends list down to two close friends and just a couple of people I know and occasionally speak with. Friends can help lift your mood and they can also be a damper on our moods.

Next, you need to give yourself a few moments a day where you can sit quietly with nature and just be in that present moment. I sit on my back porch either early morning or late at night and I listen to the sounds of nature. I identify every sound I hear. Doing this brings you into the present moment. I focus on my breathing, making sure my tummy rises and falls with each breath. Counting to five as I breath in slowly and then counting to five as I exhale slowly. This is rhythmic breathing. Doing this also places you in the present moment. Clearing your mind of any thoughts as they pop up and just focusing on the breath and the sounds you hear. Doing this is so important! It is more important than anything else, so make the time to do this daily, even if it is just ten minutes.

Our minds are very powerful! The thoughts we allow shape our days and our moods. In the beginning you have to fake it until you make it. Catch those thoughts that are negative and change then to positive ones or affirmations that you speak out loud. We have the power to create anything we so desire. All you have to do is be mindful and focus your thoughts. The number one thing people say they want is to be happy. So, every single day, say out loud, “I AM HAPPY!” Look in the mirror and smile at yourself! No matter your life’s situation, you have the power to feel happiness. All you have to do is choose it.
